VEX is a robotics system that gives you a chance to design, build, code and test your robot. There is a TES VEX robotics competition at the end of the year and if you want to continue next year the plan is to go to other inter-school competitions.

Last year saw the establishment of a TES School podcast, and the plan is for this to expand and develop in Semester 2. We would look to produce more content, and to develop the different sections of the podcast. This may involve extra content, and the possibility of video content, as well as a regular podcast of approximately 10 minutes length.

To provide an outlet for student innovation and originality, capturing the student-led voice and communicating that voice and vision through various media platforms. We are part of the larger PEAK team and work collaboratively with the Art and Writing team as well as taking on wider staff and school community commissions.

Peak Art is an opportunity to design and illustrate an original article, written by the PEAK writing team. Art designers work along side writers to brainstorm a palette, illustration, or photography to enhance the work.
Candidates must apply with a portfolio of sample art work. Applications will be open later this year.

say? The PEAK writing department is eager to hear from you.
PEAK is TES's one of TES's creative outlets. Our three departments regularly produce student‐created content from videos to illustrated articles to beautiful magazines. In the writing department, you will be writing articles about topics of your choice in any genre for the student body to enjoy, making you not only a better writer but a better thinker. We are excited for you to join PEAK's vibrant, creative community!
